The main reason for doing a postdoc at the MaxPlanck Institute was to learn more algebraic geometry and to deepen the connections between the applied topology and applied algebraic geometry communities.

 I am one of the organizers of the Topology in Data Science session at the 33rd Summer Conference on Topology and its Applications, which will take place in Johannesburg at the University of the Witwatersrand from July 14, 2019.

Max Planck Institut for Mathematics in the Sciences:
I was one of the organizers of the TAGS workshop, the aim of which was to bring together researchers in topological data analysis, applied algebraic geometry, statistics and related fields. 
Brown University 2016/2017:
 I was one of the organizers of the horizons seminar.
 I organized the applied topology seminar at Brown. This year Yitzchak Solomon and Melissa McGuirl took over. Check out the schedule and drop by!
