Sara Kališnik

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Wesleyan University.

In the academic year 2017/2018 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences. I was a part of the Research Group in Nonlinear Algebra headed by Bernd Sturmfels.

In the academic year 2016/2017 I was a postdoctoral research associate at Brown University.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Applied Topology in June, 2016 from Stanford University. I completed my thesis, titled "Tropical Coordinates on the Space of Persistence Barcodes", under the direction of Gunnar Carlsson. During my time at Stanford I was funded by the Stanford Graduate Fellowship.
